Abstract
This study presents an analysis of type herbarium specimens belonging to the genus Astragalus L. preserved in the Herbarium of the Institute of Botany and Phytointroduction (AA). The study covered 63 type herbarium specimens representing 33 taxa of the genus Astragalus L., including 22 holotypes, 28 isotypes, and 10 specimens classified as specimina authentica (an unspecified category). For each specimen, the geolocation information indicated on the herbarium label was recorded. To ensure the accuracy of the accepted systematic names of the species, modern principles of botanical nomenclature and classification were applied, and the data were compared with the current POWO database. As a result of the herbarium study, an annotated list of species and infraspecific taxa was compiled and arranged in alphabetical order. For each taxon, the accepted names, nomenclatural information, the full text of the herbarium label, and the type category of the original specimens—holotype or isotype—were provided. The study resulted in the systematic organization of type herbarium materials of the genus Astragalus L.
