“Natura Scientia Journal” serves as an international platform for the publication and dissemination of scientific research in the field of biology.

Mission: To advance the scientific and applied potential of the natural sciences, support innovation-driven research, and foster effective governance models in the context of global change.

Objectives:

· To publish original, high-quality scientific articles that have not been previously published or submitted to other journals.

· To uphold the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on copyright and internationally recognized standards of publication ethics.

· To highlight the latest advances and emerging research trends in the field of biology.

Scope: Biology.

“Natura Scientia Journal” accepts for publication previously unpublished articles authored by one or more contributors, submitted in Kazakh, Russian, or English, provided that the manuscripts align with the thematic scope of the journal and are strictly formatted in accordance with the manuscript preparation guidelines.

All articles submitted to the journal must include an abstract, keywords, and author information in three languages. The author information section shall contain the following details: surnames, affiliations, country, and correspondence addresses of the author(s), with the corresponding author clearly identified, along with an email address and ORCID iD.

The manuscript of a scientific article shall be submitted to the editorial board by the corresponding author – designated from among the co-authors when two or more contributors are involved – no later than two months prior to the publication date of the forthcoming issue. The manuscript is uploaded via the electronic submission platform by the corresponding author, with all required metadata pertaining to the article and its authors duly completed.

The author(s) are required to submit original work that has not been previously published in any other outlet, including print, electronic, or other open-access sources.

The editorial board reviews all manuscripts received from the author(s), organizes their peer review, and issues a decision regarding acceptance or rejection for publication within two months of the date of submission through the electronic platform.

Borrowing and Plagiarism

When assessing manuscripts for compliance with the journal's normative requirements, the editorial board of “Natura Scientia Journal” conducts a plagiarism check using the Strikeplagiarism (Plagiat.pl) detection system.

Manuscripts that are original and/or those in which the originality score, as determined by the anti-plagiarism check, is above 75% are forwarded for further peer review. Should a manuscript fail to meet the journal's formatting requirements or be found to lack originality on the basis of the plagiarism check, it will be returned to the corresponding author for the necessary revisions and resubmission for editorial board consideration via the journal's electronic submission platform.

Where authors have drawn upon the works, articles, provisions, quotations, or assertions of other researchers in the preparation of their manuscript, they are required to cite those scholars accordingly and to format all quoted material in compliance with the applicable referencing standards.

All individuals involved in the publishing process – and editorial board members of “Natura Scientia Journal” in particular – are committed to upholding the principles adopted by the international academic community in order to ensure the high quality of scientific publications, prevent misconduct in publishing activities such as the use of false information, data falsification, and related violations, and to promote the recognition of genuine scientific achievements by society at large.

Should a proven instance or instances of violation of the principles, standards, and norms of research ethics be identified in an article published in “Natura Scientia Journal”, the editorial board is obligated to withdraw the said article from the issue in which it appeared and to remove it from the journal's official website – that is, to carry out a retraction – with an explicit statement of the specific ethical violations committed by the author(s). A corresponding notice shall be published in the next available issue of the journal and posted on the journal's website under the "Announcements" section.
